What a fantastic weekend of motor sport at Barbagello Raceway. If like me you haven’t been to the track for some time then its about time you checked out the WASCC web site for all the happening events that can put a smile on any rev heads dial. Thanks to the WASCC for the invite I had a great weekend.

Saturday saw the Super Sprint with some beautifully presented cars competing against the clock. There was an array of cars both old and new some of which took me back down memory lane. The event ran like clockwork and I was very impressed by all the officials and helpers. I would like to thank all the club members who made me feel so welcome and on aside the steak lunch was sensational.

Sunday was race day. I could not believe how big this event is and if you are new to motor racing or just haven’t been for a while then this beats the heck out of sat in front of a TV screen. There was a full day of high octane racing including some excitement of a couple of big offs. This is a great venue and because the seating and grass areas are so close to the track you get very close to the action. Thanks again to the WASCC for the invite
